About Us
We started trading as a travel agent called Country Trails Travel over 18 years ago on Mount Pleasant in Tunbridge Wells. We still uphold the traditional values of a travel agent, offering an unbiased service to our customers. We have recently moved to new premises just three doors away from our old shop into a newly refurbished Travel Store. Our shop specialises in skiing and in tailor making your trip for you and relish putting bespoke travel arrangements together for luxury travel or adventurous travel to Africa and world wide destinations. At the same time you can browse a wide range of ski clothing, travel gear and essential travel accessories for your holiday or perhaps for that more adventurous trip. Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping trolley. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Switch and Solo. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. Please make sure that the cardholders name is exactly as on the card and also the address is as shown on the credit card statement. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail although no responsibility can be taken for security if this method is chosen. The best secure method of all is over the secure Internet server.

The prices which include V.A.T. are checked for accuracy. Occasionally errors may occur where prices are incorrectly displayed or change as a result of circumstances beyond our control. In those situations, you will be informed of the correct/revised prices once we receive your order, and if you should not wish to purchase the product concerned at that price we will cancel that part of the order.


Postage and Packaging
All orders are despatched, when possible, by 1st Class post.

A flat fee of £1.99 for orders up to £9.99 and a fee of £3.50 for items over will apply. Some larger orders may have to be sent by parcel post if it is appropriate. Special delivery charging applies to two day deliveries or overnight within the U.K.or BFPO. We will email, fax or telephone you if any special carriage charges apply.

For overseas orders please send order and we will advise by email or phone the total carriage charge the purchases will not be dispatched to you until a confirmation is received by us by fax or email. Dispatch is normally within 2 business days. Most International orders are usually received within 7 days from date of dispatch. Where it is beyond our control some foreign destinations will take longer and may, as already stated, also be subject to extra carriage charges.

Complaints Policy
In the case of complaints, in the first instance your detailed complaint may be emailed to customerservices@packyourbags.com or mailed to Customer Service Dept. Packyourbags Travel Store 33 Mount Pleasant Road, Tunbridge Wells Kent TN1 1PN or phone 01892 779710 during normal business hours 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. All calls will be charged at standard rate. All complaints received by post, fax or email will be acknowledged within one working day with the name of the person dealing clearly indicated. Telephone complaints may not be acknowledged by email until the investigation is commenced. We endeavour to deal promptly with all complaints and an estimated timescale for resolving the matter could be given on request but this will be entirely dependant upon the nature of the complaint.

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. We would expect to send off the 'items in stock' order with the back order items to follow. You will be emailed to advise with the option given to receive all your order in one delivery or part delivery. There is always the option to cancel your entire or part order if you would rather not wait.


Credit Card Security
Please be assured of full security when you shop using your credit card. This website holds a full Secure Server License and as such is held on a fully secure server. Your credit card details are only clear on our computer and cannot be read by anyone else prior to their arrival at our call centre.

Guarantee
Your guarantee is complete. Please see our terms as per the Returns Policy. The selection and use of suitable equipment for particular tasks and climate conditions does require skill. In the interests of your safety and the safety of others, you should ensure that you are properly equipped and trained in the use of the equipment. We recommend that you seek and take the advice of a person who is suitably qualified before purchasing your equipment. The equipment should only be used in accordance with the manufacturers’ instructions and should likewise be inspected before use and properly maintained. Nothing in this notice affects your statutory rights. Accuracy of the colours is entirely dependent on what the website configuration allows.

The pages contained in this Website may contain technical inaccuracies and typographical errors. The information in these pages may be updated from time to time but may be out of date. When you order we need to know: your name or company name, email address, delivery address, credit or debit card details. We also ask for your telephone number to contact you if there are any poblems with your order. All information held can be disclosed on request and amended if incorrect with confirmation of correction or deletion provided. We may use the information we collect to notify you of any changes, offers or new services we think you will find interesting. In accordance with the Privacy & Electronic Communications Act passed into law 11th Dec 03 we do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam). Returns Policy
Every customer has the right to cancel their order within 7 working days begining the day after receipt of the goods subject to terms above and in line with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. Goods can be returned for full refund (not including delivery charge) if goods despatched are as ordered and are unwanted within 7 working days begining the day after receipt of the goods. They must be returned in new condition and be accompanied by the original packaging and receipt. Your credit card used for the purchase will be refunded the original purchase amount (less delivery charges as appropriate) within 30 days of the cancellation. In the case of 'faulty goods' where the packaging may have been opened or discarded the packaging state or otherwise is not material to the return. Your rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended) will be fully complied with. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.. Our aim is your complete satisfaction.
