The Tilley Airflo® provides sun protection in a lighterweight construction. Tilley Airflo® designs incorporate mesh into the crown allowing coolness and comfort during hot days or strenuous activities. Engineered from Tilley Nylamtium®, a strong water-and-mildew resistant form of nylon. The LTM5 is the Airflo® version of Tilley's LT5 Hat. It has a semi-sloping front and back brim and a relatively high crown.

WHY ARE THEY SO GOOD?

They have been designed for the roughest and hardest use. Made from the best materials that won’t shrink, will keep the sun and rain off and can be tied on. The hat floats, has it’s own hidden built-in pocket and is made in lots of sizes.

This really comfortable hat is unisex, crushable and packable. It is worn low and fairly loose being held on by gravity or the fitted front and back ‘windcords’.

The Tilley hat is amazingly guaranteed for life (yours). Tilleys are replaced free if they ever wear out, shrink or fall apart. They're so carefully handcrafted in Canada, and made of such strong materials, including some brass fittings from Britain, that many outlive their owners.

Tilley Hats are Insured against loss, How terrible it would be if you lost yours or your dog or crocodile chewed it up! If anything like that happened to your treasured Tilley hat it will be replaced at half the current catalogue price.

With your Hat, you'll be provided with "The Straight-Shooter's Statement of Loss of a Tilley Hat" insurance policy. The insurance is for two years, all perils, 50% deductible, and is not issued by Lloyds.

The fabric and style of all Tilley Hats have been certified to block 98 percent of harmful UVA/UVB radiation and deliver an ultraviolet factor (UPF) of 50+, the maximum rating given.

Tilley Hats repel rain Not perfectly but usually quite adequately. Happily, the brims of the cotton-duck Tilleys actually become stiffer when they get wet, not floppier, helping to protect your neck, face and glasses.
