How does Powersafer work?

You simply plug the Powersafer into your wall socket, then plug your TV into Powersafer. When you put the TV on standby, Powersafer detects a drop or surge in power. When you put the TV back on with your remote, it powers the TV back on. Not only does this save energy and reduce your electricity bills, turning the power off your electrical appliances extends their life by up to 18 months. Step by Step Instructions:

Plug the TV in to the Power Safer
Plug the Power Saver in to the wall socket and turn the wall socket on.
Turn TV On. The light on the Power Saver will turn green. The green light on the PowerSafer will turn off after 15 seconds.
When you come to turn your TV off, push the standby button on your remote control.
Wait for 15 seconds. During this time the PowerSafer will have a green light on and your TV standby light will be red.
After 15 seconds both units are off - with only 0.3 Watts (or less) being used to monitor for the signal to switch back on.
Powersafer doesn't need to be in line of sight of the remote control so it can be tucked behind the TV keeping everything tidy.
